Challenges On October 10, 1993, Dan was hurt with a torn Achilles tendon, breaking his 145 consecutive games. But with hard work, he was up and going in 5 months. After many years of playing with the hall of fame coach Don Shula the coach’s year came to a close. Even though the team was never the same, Dan tried his best. In 1984 the 2 year veteran took the team to Dan’s first and only super bowl but came up short 38 to 16 to the 49’ers and everyone questioned whether or not he could win a super bowl. Even with this question, he still made the hall of fame. A few years ago Dan and his wife encountered that their son, Michael, had a mild case of autism. For that, Dan has been raising $ for Michael's school so that him and his friends had everything they needed. Dan’s Son Michael Don and Dan together in the game Dan unfortunately lost in Super Bowl 18 in 1985

What do you admire about this person this person? I admire many things about Dan Marino. He will never give up. He works really hard and has love for the game. He is compassionate. How does this person have a lasting impact? He was probably one of the last of the Great Quarterback ERA. What I mean is that all the legendary players like Joe Montana, John Elway and also like Johnny Unitas are all gone in history and there is no more who play like them anymore.
