Help Fight Carson City’s Poverty and Homelessness! Carson Middle School’s CLS class is collecting donations for Carson City students and their families who are homeless. We are all “Team United” sharing love, hope and respect. If you would like to help, please drop off your donations in Ms. Howley’s class (room 33), thank you! Hunger/Homeless Definitions Homelessness: a person who lacks a fixed adequate regular nighttime residence Hunger: A feeling of discomfort or weakness caused by lack of food, coupled with the desire to eat Food Insecurity: A home that at some point during the last year struggled to put adequate food on the table What do you mean homeless?

What donations are we accepting? Clean clothing, hats, beanies, mittens, scarves, coats, sweaters, socks Non-perishable foods Toys Shoes Toiletries such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoos, conditioners, brushes, soap, etc. Blankets Answer: Anything to help keep our homeless families warm, full and as comfortable as possible.
