4 Statistics - Numerical Data i.e. – Michael Jordan has won MVP of the NBA Finals in 1991, 1992, 1993, 1996, 1997, and 1998.

5 Mean - The average value of a set of numbers i.e. – Michael Jordan, in 1987-88, scored 3041 in 82 games. What is his average points per game? Total amount of points/Amount of games played Answer – 37.1

6 Medium - The middle number of the set of numbers i.e. – Michael Jordan has won the MVP award in the NBA five times. He won it in 1988, 1991, 1992, 1996, and 1998. What is the medium? Answer – 1992

7 Mode - The number that turns up most frequently i.e. – During Michael Jordan’s 15 year career, he averaged 83%, 82%, 83%, 81%, 83%, 83%, 84%, 78%, 84%, 85%,79%, 85%, 84%, 85%, and 84% at the free throw line. What was his mode? Answer – 83% & 84%

8 Range - The difference between the highest and the lowest number in the set of numbers. i.e. Michael Jordan started every game in a season in 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990 and 1991. What is the range? Answer –7–7
