5. Bled 04/09/2004 ERFP activities since Cairo. E.C. – DG Agriculture – n° 870/2004 3  New regulation published on 24/04/2004  Important role for the existing networks (ECP/GR, ERFP, EUFORGEN).  The new call could be launched at the end of 2004.  The work programme is being finalised.

ERFP actions. 2  Second call at the beginning of November 2003.  Three projects were funded (by 7 demands): European Cryoconservation of Heritage Sheep Breeds – Scoping Study (15 K€) Veterinary provisions for the maintenance of genetic resources in case of infectious diseases (7.5 K€). Possible way of conservation the multipurpose Tsigai sheep and other indigenous sheep breeds in the CEEC and Balkan countries (20 K€)
