The are two options currently available: 1) Students who are participating in the After School Program receive homework assistance and tutoring from Ms. Klein and Ms. Van Dyne. 2) Students who require more specialized tutoring can meet with Ms. Lanham, Ms. Damron, and Mr. Morris on the afternoons they stay afterschool. Please note teacher set their own schedules for specialized tutoring. All students are welcome to attend. If you have any questions, contact the main office. FREE Tutoring Programs

The school is committed to creating or locating, and then encompassing, a program geared to promote self esteem and encouragement among our middle school (6 th thru 8 th ) and junior high (9 th thru 10 th ) grade students. We are painfully aware that many students in this age group are struggling to understand themselves and other around them. This is an important new action item and we will keep parents updated on our progress. T he LKCS and APAA teaching staff asks that all parents help keep their children motivated. We find as the holiday season begins, some students lose the focus they possessed when school began. We will continue to offer incentives such as field trips, ice cream sundae parties and special activities. An Idea… Staying Motivated
