What is the problem? Lack of political buy-in at the level of the minister Resistance of signature of MoU by a monopolistic potato seed company. Potato seed company is against all the principles of regional integration to maintain monopoly - fears competition from South Africa.

Overall aim Secure political buy-in and support of all relevant stakeholders.

Specific Objectives To secure buy-in of potato seed stakeholders. To gain political buy-in at Ministerial level in order to have the MoU signed. To have legislation gazetted and enacted. To promote civic education to increase public awareness.
