What is SEEDA? One of nine English Regional Development Agencies Economic and Social Development targets Remit covers Public, Private and Voluntary Sectors 8 million population GDP same size as Austria

The Role of Regional Aggregation Bodies Dual objectives -Value for money for government departments -Availability of Broadband Mechanisms -Aggregation of government demand for interconnect - SGEI declaration + Public Service Obligation ?? Organisation -A RAB in each English region – RDA/DTI partnership -Focus on satisfying demand from the public sector -Part of the implementation of the regional broadband strategy
