7. There are a lot of different styles of timber portal frames. Some timber portal frames could be with a hinge for easy erection, as shown in the previous slide. Some are made with columns and rafters, with a fixed steel bracket connecting them, as shown in this slide.

8. My Proposal Double box timber portal frame, which could span the whole 40m, with a height of 9.8m (similar to the CSR store building in Cardiff, NSW. Pre-fabricated toilets and kitchen units units for office space. Timber walkway as upper level of warehouse (simple timber framing construction), for managers to observe operation in warehouse floor. Pre-fabricated, louvred windows.
