Matter Matter is everything around you. Matter is anything made of atoms and molecules. Matter is anything that has a mass.

Matter Even though matter can be found all over the universe, you usually find it in just a few forms.

Density Density of a material is defined as its mass per unit volume

Center of Gravity Average location of all its mass. The point at which the entire weight of a body may be considered as concentrated so that if supported at this point the body would remain in equilibrium in any position

Buoyancy Buoyancy is the upward force of water that allows objects to float. Objects that can float in water, or other liquids, are said to be buoyed in the water. An object's ability to float comes from the upward force of the liquid in which it is placed.

Archimedes Principles Any object, wholly or partially immersed in a fluid, is buoyed up by a force equal to the weight of the fluid displaced by the object.
