Chap. 11 3. the head of the woman is the man  The Reality of Equality: Gal. 3:28  The Roles of Headship: Eph. 5:22f For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: 11:6a but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered. 11:6b Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. the husband is the head of the wife… as Christ is the head of the church.

(10:31 ct. 1:29) For this reason, and because of the angels, the woman ought to have a sign of authority on her head. (11:10, NIV) Cp.
