13. The first reason why people go online is that they can send photos to people anywhere in the world less than five minutes without leaving their homes. If they mail photos using the postal service, however, they have to go out to get copies made of the photos. This takes a couple days and two trips. Then they have to take another trips to the post office to send them. After they put the photos in the mail, it takes several days for them to arrive at their destination. Another reason is to keep in touch with their friends. Calling overseas costs a lot of money. Luckily, they can stay in close contact with the people when they communicate by e-mail, or they can have a Skype call. The last but not the least reason is that they can shop on the internet without leaving their rooms. On the other hand, if they go shopping in the stores, it takes all day because they have to drive to several stores to find what they want at a reasonable price.
