5.  The Sudause government under the rule of Omar Al Bashir began the genocide of the people of Darfur.  They wanted to ethnically cleanse the tribes of Darfur

7.  Classification: Black Africans vs. Arab Africans.  Symbolization: Skin color was the most significant symbolization  Dehumanization : Darfurians were kept as slaves

They had strategic planning as to what village they would attack  Polarization: Al Bashir said he would protect the black africans but obviously did not. They also did not make it very easy for humanitarian groups to help. Because of this many died of starvation and disease.
