CONSTRAINTS 2005-06 Plantation season for most of the crops was over at I release of funds of 05-06 under NHM Low unit cost of some of the crops/programmes like - banana, cut flowers etc. Lack of awareness of NHM programmes Unavailability of appropriate technology and its technical specifications Time involved in constitution & development of implementation system Time involved in stream lining for different inputs Delay of permission for rejuvenation of trees and release of TP from forest department

13. Measures to gear up the target 2005-06 & proposed plan 06-07 Constraints in rejuvenation programme have been discussed with Forest deptt. and issues are shortlisted. HRD capsules prepared and training institutions have been identified and finalized. Nodal Agencies are being identified for timely input arrangement. Consultancy services are being finalized for different innovative and technology based activities from different institutions in co-ordination with UPCAR. Seeking tie-up with Mandi Parishad for establishment of markets and other post harvest activities. Month wise phasing and accordingly implementation strategies of different activities.
