Title I – Improving the Academic Achievement of the Disadvantaged Title I of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (formerly No Child Left Behind) is a federal grant that provides funds to schools to ensure that all children have a fair, equal, and significant opportunity to obtain a high-quality education and reach proficiency on Ohio’s challenging academic achievement standards and assessments. Who Can Receive Title I Services? Imagine Clay Avenue is a School-Wide Title I school, which means that ALL students are eligible to receive Title I services! Parent Compact The Parent Compact outlines how parents, the entire school staff, and students will share the responsibility for improved student academic achievement, and the means by which the school and parents will build and develop a partnership that will help children achieve Ohio’s high academic standards.
