23 Emergency Preparedness Plan Mutual Chain of Command Take care of yourself, family, make sure all ok. Check your unit and come outside. If building captain, start check of building, if able bodied, find captain or start check. Emergency coordinator and president establish mutual command center Directors/emergency managers establish group emergency meeting area Captains/co-captains check building

24 Emergency Preparedness Plan During the Emergency Check for residents using Survey and knock or shout: “If you hear me, shout or blow whistle”. Note injury severity. If light or none, resident is told to leave and report to the EMA. Note building damage on DIR along with resident report. Complete and return to EMA. Encourage others to help injured. Able-bodied volunteers report to EMA for duty. Directors review DIRs, forward to Mutual C C

25 Emergency Preparedness Plan During the Emergency Mutual Command Center reviews DIRs and forwards to Clubhouse Sub-Command Center ICC will collect all DIRs and forward to Seal Beach Command Post. Directors will assign tasks for captains and able- bodied volunteers.
