2 Project Idea: Community Sheds My friend’s garden shed… An imagined community shed… A community space for… …woodwork; metal work; traditional crafts; cooking; arts projects; gardening… …talking; relaxing; feeling valued; feeling supported; being informed… …linking with the community….

3 1. Spread the word and exchange the learning on the Shed approach 2. Facilitate the development of Sheds in the NPP area 3. Enhance the evidence base of the benefits of a Shed approach Reconceptualising rural services: 1.Preventative health (physical and mental) benefits through Sheds. 2.Employability through Sheds. Sheds can reach people that have traditionally been absent from community initiatives and volunteering activities.
