Advantages The energy is free - after initial cost of machinery No waste Not expensive to operate and maintain. Can produce a great deal of energy. Wave power will never stop – dependable, renewable energy source

Disadvantages Energy depends on the waves Needs a suitable site, where waves are consistently strong. Hard to repair Costly to input Must be able to withstand very rough weather.
