2.  My home town is Paide. It is a small town in the middle of Estonia.  Paide is more than 700 years old.  In Paide there are about 9500 people.  Some people who were born in Paide are very famous.

4.  Ants Viidalepp was born in 1921.  He has painted more than 60 years.  He has illustrated Lennart Meri´s travelogues.

5.  She was born in 1978.  She became a model when she was 14.  Carmen studied in Paide Co-educational Gymnasium.  She is the president of Estonian Chess Federation.

6.  He was born in 1976.  He won his first competition in 1991.  He was saved from the ship Estonia in 1994.  Triathlon consists of 3.6 km swimming, 180 km cycling, 42 km running.

7.  She was born in 1931.  Since 1953 she has been working at Eesti Draamateater.  She has played in films, performed on television and radio.  She was awarded with the order of the White Cross in 2001.

8.  He was born in 1935.  Arvo Pärt is a world famous composer.  On the place of his home there is a sculpture made by Riho Kuld.  Last year he made a half-million-kroon donation for Paide Music School.
