What is FD? The aim of FD is to improve operational effectiveness through individual and collective knowledge, trg and skills. This, in turn, leads to the increased preparedness and enhanced competence of all personnel to carry out their duties, either in situ or deployed on exercise or operations. (AP3379, Leaflet 2410) 21
