Autism is a disorder of brain functioning that appears early in life, generally before the age of three. Autistic individuals have problems with learning capacity, social interaction, communication, imagination and behavior. Autistic people tend to have difficulty in learning certain things that a person without autism.

Autism is a serious issue today. Autism is stronger today than it has been in the past year. Autism became political in the 1900’s It became a global issue because of the diagnoses. Doctors do not know the cause for autism.

An Autistic brain has abnormal number of brain cells. Autistic children have heavier brains and overabundance of brain cells called neurons. A autistic brain has 67% more neurons. In a normal brain it has 80 to 120 billon neurons. The normal brain has executive functions such as self-control, planning, reasoning and abstract thought.

The symptoms of autism can be sensory dysfunction, sleep disorders, self-abusive behavior and more. The symptoms that every autistic people have in common are challenges, disabilities, or delays in the areas of social communication.

If your child has these signs following: › Limited interest in activities or play › Unusual attachments to toys or strange objects › Delayed or lack of speech › Speaks in a abnormal tone of voice › Repetitive movement of body (arms, head) › Impaired social skills › Has trouble understanding or talking about feelings

The problem is that no one knows the cause. More and children are being diagnosed late. There is no cure for autism. Treatments that are attempted does not help the child they’re just being abused.
