What do Pink Dolphins Eat? Pink dolphins eat crabs, catfish, and small river fish. As some of these species live at the bottom of the river, pink dolphins usually swim at the bottom of the river to find food They swim up to 30 kilometers in one day, although they usually swim slowly looking for food at the bottom of the river

Where do Pink Dolphins live? Dolphins are widely known as ocean inhabitants, however there are several species of fresh water dolphins living in some of the largest rivers in the world. There are five species of dolphins that live in rivers, The Pink Dolphin being the most popular of them or Boto that lives in the Amazon river.

How do the Pink Dolphins stay warm? Even though pink dolphins are warm blooded and their internal temperature is about 98 degrees, they need to conserve their body heat in colder water. The dolphin’s body is surrounded by a thick layer of fat called blubber just under the skin that helps keep the dolphin warm.

How do the Pink Dolphins communicate? Pink Dolphins communicate by using sound, vision, touch, and taste. They don’t have the ability to smell, however dolphins have a language like humans. Each dolphin can make a unique whistle that may help individual dolphins recognize each other.

How fast do Pink Dolphins swim? Pink Dolphins swim at 3 to 7 miles per hour, they can go over 20 miles per hour when they work hard. The body shape of a dolphin helps it swim fast. A dolphin’s body is shaped like a tube that is pointed at both ends which helps the water flow over the dolphin’s body as it swims.

How deep can the Pink Dolphins dive? Pink dolphins are shallow divers and typically don't go deeper than 150 feet How big do Pink Dolphins grow? Pink Dolphins are about 3 1/2 feet long at birth and grow to 8 or 9 feet long while its weight can reach a maximum of 150 kg.
