Facts Born in 1941-Tacoma Washington Studied Interior Design until 1962-travels to Europe and Middle East to study art. 1963-returns to Washington to continue studies 1969-76-continues to travel and study art in Europe 1976 in a car wreck-loses his eye-After this period, he starts his experimentation in blown glass while teaching.

This was specifically designed to also create a “lighted sculpture on the wall directly opposite the display. Each piece is designed and displayed to be seen through and illuminated by a light source.

Objective: Create a simulated glass sculpture in the style of Dale Chihuly. Criteria: –Can be a relief or in-the-round sculpture displayed on wall. –Coordinating transparent color schemes. –Minimium of two layers of relief.
