2 Nele Leosk, E-Governance Academy About e-Governance Academy NGO founded for creation and transfer of knowledge concerning e-governance (incl. e- democracy) Initiated in 2002 by the UNDP, OSI and the Government of Estonian Republic (Memorandum of Understanding)

3 Nele Leosk, E-Governance Academy About e- Governance Academy Mission- to train and advise leaders and top civil servants in using ICT to increase government efficiency and improve democratic processes Efficiency lies in: understanding of post-socialist transition countries, fluency in Russian, network of researches, trainers, consultants (local, international) Core staff 6 persons + 30 experts
