Teams are chosen based on performance in the club. The points you earn during each competition will add up to your overall score.

Competition date: › Tuesday November, 18 th You MUST register to take this exam no later than October 1 st (form on website) › Registration forms received after October 1 st will be placed on a waiting list in order of receipt. All students who are younger than 14.5 years old on November 18 th are eligible to participate.

February – date TBA Students who are older than 14.5 on Nov. 18 th are eligible for the AMC 10 (not the AMC 8) Younger students who earn at least a 20 out of 25 on the AMC 8 are eligible to participate in the AMC 10

High school honor society › ONLY students enrolled in a HIGH SCHOOL math course are eligible to participate. (GEM 7, GEM 8, Algebra, etc.) Hiller/Nunn Contest – Wednesday, Dec. 3 rd Upcoming competitions: Jan. 31 – Regionals – Braddock HS, Miami Feb. 14 th – Regionals – Ferguson HS, Miami Mar. 7 th – Regionals – FAU, Davie Mar. 21 st – Cypress Bay Statewide (this is a Saturday during spring break) Must work ahead in text book to be prepared for competitions. ***Practice old tests at www.famat.org***
