R. Lehmann, MD ASCRS 2008 NDS Summary Distance differences favoring the SN60WF IOL resulted in clinically relevant advantages in the amount of time to react to targets (>0.5 seconds) under certain conditions City Detection: Fog (Pedestrian*) Glare (Pedestrian* ) City Identification: Fog (Pedestrian*) Glare (Text* & Pedestrian*) Rural Detection: Fog (Pedestrian & Warning*) Glare (Text, Pedestrian*, & Warning*) Normal (Pedestrian & Warning) Rural Identification: Fog (Warning*) Glare (Warning*) Normal (Warning*) *Statistically significant (p<0.05) in favor of SN60WF

R. Lehmann, MD ASCRS 2008 Conclusions The AcrySof ® IQ IOL (SN60WF) demonstrated superior functional performance in contrast sensitivity and the night driving simulator compared to the control IOL Statistically significant differences in mesopic mean contrast sensitivity at 3 & 6 cpd w/o glare (FACT) Statistically significant mean distance differences in favor of the SN60WF IOL Clinically relevant advantages in the amount of time to react to targets May improve patient safety under low visibility conditions
