1 Aerodynamics of Flight By: Himani and Zachery

2 Peregrine falcons are the fastest birds. They fly 100 mph while flying level. They can dive up to 200 mph.

3 They open and close their tail feathers to move up and down. They can also do that by twisting left or right.

4 They ‘’bank’’ as they turn they tilt one wing higher than the other, banking holds the underside of the wings. Another way peregrines turn it beats one wing faster than the other.

5 Peregrine falcons have special feathers for their type of flying. (Flying over land.) Peregrines falcons have broad and slotted feathers, their feathers don’t only help them fly they also give them protection on the ground. Their tail feathers are used as a rudder. They are broad and stiff.
