28. Getting Ready to use KSWAN  Departments need to provide KSWAN User name and user-id to avail KSWAN services  Departments need to register GBC users  Username and Password should be given by the department for Dial-up connection

29. What is expected from Departments NNominate a technical representative for co-ordination with Helpdesk for getting connected to KSWAN. PProvide proper UPS power to all KSWAN equipments. Karnataka State Wide Area Network

30. Do’s PProvide UPS power to run the equipment. KKeep the equipments (Router/Switch/LAN- Extender/Radios/IP Phones) switched on 24x7. EEnsure Security of the devices. CContact Helpdesk team for any technical guidance. PPlace request to Helpdesk for relocating the equipment.
