3 Sometimes I am Cinderella all dressed up for the ball. Sometimes I pretend I’m Rapunzel shut up in a tower so tall. Sometimes I’m sleeping beauty especially in winter and fall when it’s far too cold to get up and I don’t want to answer Mum’s call. But the person I play most often is the princess who slept on the pea, for a princess who lives in a palace is just what I am planning to be! Book p.62

4 Billy and Alice went to the library to borrow some story books. “There are so many different kinds of stories,” said Alice. “I don’t know which kind to get.” Story week Every story has a beginning, a middle and an end. Every story has a setting. Not all stories are the same. Some stories are funny. They can make you laugh right out loud. Some stories are scary. They are so scary that they make you want to hide under your blanket in your bed. Some stories are so sad that they make you cry. Some stories are like puzzles. They make you think hard about the ending. What kind of story do you like? Book p.64

5 Note the differences in the use of some and every. We use every to refer to all of the stories. We use some to refer to a number of stories.
