Accredited groups Key facts Athletes staying across two villages Carnoustie Hotel and the Apex – 38 teams confirmed Technical Officials staying in the Westpark Villas Dundee Press staying in the Holiday Inn Dundee Transport Accredited groups will be transported from accommodation to venue via shuttles services and delivered to BOH PSA. Only internal shuttle is to full bore for accredited groups only 12

Security -Key Facts Venue Security Command Centre (VSCC) co –located in the Event Control Room (ECR) at Enclosed. SEC 24 hours per day (MDS overnight) ‘OFF’ hours SEC are in control of the site. ‘ON’ hours VMA are in control of the site. Handover process at the start/end of each day. A blend of Private Contract Security (Sword) & Police to secure inside the venue Phased increase of SEC personnel from now until games Police to operate at VPC, PSAs & VSA Reject route to redirect vehicles without VAPPS Police to patrol the external perimeter OC internal perimeter 14

Security perimeter fencing Security fencing around perimeter of enclosed ranges with PIDS Security fencing around the armoury within enclosed with PTZ & PIDS Shotgun partial security fencing around BOH areas with thermal cameras Security patrols to the west of Big Wood during competition hours 15

Security continued Sentry points All five sentry points manned by OC SEC from 13 th -29 th July Sentry Flags Will operate in the same way as when MoD have live firing Range Safety/ Clearance Exercise ‘wide awake’ to be carried out by SEC within OC footprint every morning and every evening OC to call Range Control and report ‘Range Clear’ (OC footprint only) Range Control SEC personnel based within Range control will operate as a liaison – in particular and will operate as the link between Range control and OC. 16

Who Can Authorise an Evacuation? The only person who can Authorise an Evacuation from the venue is the: EVENT SAFETY OFFICER The only exception is if the venue is under the control of Police Scotland 53

Who Does the Evacuation? Hotel will handle evacuation as normal and take lead Village Operations will assist with Glasgow 2014 workforce details Security will assist with evacuating residents and workforce safely. 62

Responsibilities Hotel Duty Manager will take charge of Fire Evacuation team and situation Reception – make 999 call HOD’s – provide a copy of rota G2014 Village Shift Leader – provide workforce check in report Security – assist with evacuation to assembly point 63

SVB Evacuation Procedure Overall Procedure Ensure appropriate records are brought to the assembly point. Guest List and Staff List. HOD’s to report to reception to assist with the fire guard evacuation system (duty manager assumes responsibility) Assist with evacuation – identify disabled/special needs guest(s) and those elderly or with small children. Roll Call – list missing persons and their likely locations. Liaise with Fire Brigade upon arrival. Take appropriate action for guest welfare and hospitality gestures. 64
