The Early Years Foundation Stage It is the period of education from birth to five years. There is a strong emphasis on learning through play, both child initiated and planned play. We follow the new EYFS which was implemented in September 2012 The child’s learning is collected in a learning Journey. Class Jonah’s are called the ‘Clever Cat’ book.

Daily Routines Parish Church Car park Gates open at 8.45. Children to be in school by 8.55 Morning break 10.30-10.45 –snack from home required. Free milk (until 5 years old) Lunch 12-1pm 2.30-2.45 break in the Afternoon – Rolling snack provided. 3.20 Home time - Please inform the teacher or school office of any changes to the usual home time arrangements. Daily Learning Children enter class and do their jobs and sit ready for Register by 8.55 Every day they will have a Phonics, Maths, Reading and topic sessions. Every child will have a show and tell day. Every child will have a home school reading diary to communicate between school and home. Weekly P.E, ICT and R.E lessons.
