History On April 28,1937 Saddam Hussein former dictator of Iraq was born On May 2,1953 Iraq, Turkey, Britain, Pakistan, and Iran signed a treaty pledging economic and military cooperation. This agreement was technically canted central treaty organization but became more popularly known as the” Baghdad Pact”

Current Event “Bush in Vietnam warning over Iraq” and it came off BBC news In August 27,2007 President George W. Bush has warned a US withdrawal from Iraq could trigger the kind of upheaval seen in South East Asia after US forces quit Vietnam. Mr. Bush believes that Mr. Maliki is the right person to lead Iraq. Mr. Bush said that the Vietnam war had taught the need for US patience over Iraq. Over three decades later there is a legitimate debate about how we got into the Vietnam war and how we left. At least 24 people were killed and 50 people were injured when a suicide bomber rammed a fuel tanker into a police station in the Northern oil in the city of Baiji.

Iraq’s dress code is: lots of jewelry, cloak covered the upper body, wrap around skirts that were made out of sheepskin, The food that is in Iraq is beef with fruit, kebabs, yalanchi ( tomatoes stuffed with rice) The language that is spoken in Iraq is Arabic Building styles are- Culture

Places to visit Baghdad is the capital of Iraq and the Baghdad province. It is situated on the River Tigris at a position where the Tigris is about 50 kilometers from the Euphrates River. There are a lot of historical things that happened in Baghdad Iraq such as the current war which is know as the second gulf war.
