Mission The mission of TSCA is to support Texas school counselors, through leadership, advocacy and professional development.

Responsibilities and Purpose To foster a close personal and professional relationship among school counselors and with counselors in other settings.

Responsibilities and Purpose To advance the profession of counseling in order to maximize the educational, academic, career, and personal/social growth of each individual.

Responsibilities and Purpose To participate actively in the study and improvement of guidance and counseling at the local, state, and national level.

Responsibilities and Purpose To serve as a state organization concerned with the professional needs of school counselors in the state of Texas.

The History of TSCA TSCA was chartered in 1966 Louise Dooley – First President

The History of TSCA Works closely with parent organization: Texas Counseling Association Together, they have passed many laws through Texas Legislation.
