Reminders 2013-14 Contracts Consultants are working on approving them. Did you get the message that your contract was successfully submitted? If no, please go back in and click through the contract to re-submit. Don’t worry – you have until October 30, 2013 to submit August claim Annual Financial Report – Was due 8/31/2013 Direct Certification should have been run at least once Administrative Reviews will be conducted in CESA 2, bottom half of CESA 4, and CESA 8, and some uncertified schools. 9

Overview of Administrative Review The Administrative Review (AR) replaces the Coordinated Review Effort (CRE) AR’s are conducted once every three years Assesses two Critical Areas of performance and General Areas of review Some aspects of the review may be completed off-site For a more detailed overview of the new AR, go to http://fns.dpi.wi.gov/fns_ar. http://fns.dpi.wi.gov/fns_ar A webinar will also be available by the end of Sept. 10

Menu Certification All School Food Authorities (SFAs) MUST be planning breakfasts and lunches to meet the new meal pattern requirements SFAs may submit specific documentation to DPI-SNT to be approved to receive the additional 6-cent certification SFAs who did not become certified during 2012-13 will be placed in first years of new 3 yr review cycle 15

Menu Certification If already approved for the 6 cents reimbursement, no need to submit any further documentation. If not certified for the 6 cents reimbursement, we highly suggest you submit required documentation as soon as possible. Would you like hands-on technical assistance?
