5 Landmarks Here are 3 of Maryland’s most popular/famous landmarks. First, Maryland is home to the Washington Monument which is in Baltimore. This pillar stands 178 feet tall! It is also a monument built to honor George Washington.

6 Landmarks (cont.) Next is the Chesapeake Bay Bridge this bridge is in Annapolis and is an underwater bridge running north and south and runs through a small part of the Atlantic Ocean then becomes an above water bridge for a longer period of time.
