About us… Part C and Part B, Section 619, are both managed by the SEA in the Office of Early Childhood Education and Family Services

About us… Part C Called Early On in Michigan Serves approximately 18,000 children yearly Has separate contractors collecting data and providing technical assistance and professional development Part B, Section 619 Works with one grantee (separate from Part C) to collect data and provide technical assistance and professional development Serves approximately 24,000 children yearly

Coordination/ Collaboration Coordinate activities throughout the state to deliver professional development Collaborate on process of comparing data, shared collection processes, and setting targets Collaborate on state-based initiatives leading to the improvement of child outcomes (DDI, ICC, Expanding Opportunities)

How are Early Childhood Outcomes Measured? *Must have at least 6 months of continuous service EntryExitHow Data is Collected Part CWithin 90 days of enrollment Within 90 days of exit Online Child Outcome Summary Form (COSF) Part BWithin 30 days of program entrance Within days 30 of program exit or 6 th birthday COSF bubble forms Anticipate to be electronic fall 2010 in MSDS
