Outline Base station detects the presence of any object Sends the position of the target object Rover moves to the desired destination Intercepts with the target

Technical Description Base Station Ultrasonic Sensor measures distance to target Estimates the range and angle of the target Transmits the XY target coordinates using RF communication

Technical Description Rover: tracking Bot Receives XY coordinates from the base station Reaches the coordinates specified Does a local scan using IR sensors Detects the object and homes in.

Principles Implemented Real-time Data logging RF Communication Servo Calibration Ultrasonic Ranging and focusing IR sensing Alpha-Beta Estimation Algorithm Tactile sensing using whiskers Implementation of most peripherals used in previous labs

Applications Anything that requires 2-D tracking and position & velocity estimation. Examples include: Enemy Tank Detection Naval Vessel Tracking Sports
