4 Hebrew University of Jerusalem - Facts The Hebrew University of Jerusalem was opened on April 1, 1925. Albert Einstein was one of its founders. Nearly 40% of all civilian scientific research in Israel is conducted at the Hebrew University. About 3,800 research projects are in progress at the University, and 1,500 new projects are started each year.

24 VisFacet is a context-sensitive facet included in HUfind A visualization module developed for VuFind (the next-generation open-source interface). The module is based on the extraction of the library’s MARC records and visualizing the fields 6## including topics, geographical areas and era. This module retrieves and represents graphically the collection of facets in a word-cloud form, as a way to enhance search engine results page. The module is interactive and configurable; it allows users to narrow or broaden their search result in one single click. * The VisFacet project was developed with the cooperation between the Azrieli College of Engineering Jerusalem (JCE) and the Library Authority at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem ** Hufind is the library catalog of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem
