Data Needed For Banner Catalog Entry Course title/subject/number Year/term in which the course is to be offered Classification of Instructional Programs code (CIP) CEU/Credit Course Level 00- Undeclared 01- Undergraduate 02- Graduate (Master) 03- Summer Development 08- Specialist 20- Continuing Education Schedule Description *Example: Study Abroad (A), Lecture/Lab (B), Lecture/Regular Class (C), Dissertation/Thesis (D) Prerequisite

Data Needed For Banner Schedule Entry Year/Term in which the course is to be offered Subject/Course Number/Section Campus (example: main (1), Natchez (2), Others Centers (3) Schedule type (example: Study Abroad (A), Lecture/Lab (B), Lecture/Regular Class (C), Dissertation/Thesis (D)) Enrollment Maximum Meeting Time *Day(s)/Time *Building/Room Number Instructors Name and/or social security number

Adding A Course in the Banner Schedule- Step 1 Enter term TAB ADD in course reference block) Click in subject block Add course data NOTES Always select Print and Gradable You can always double click in blocks for options

Adding Course in the Banner Schedule- Step 1 con’t. Maximum ____ (enter the desired number) Projected ____ (if the block isn’t entered, enter the same number as in the maximum block) Save Click on Block/Next

Adding Course in the Banner Schedule- Step 2 Select the day of the week for the class Enter the class time Enter the Building and Room Number Save (This is when the CRN number will appear in the course reference block) Next Block
