3 cabinet grades when designing casework & specifying materials, several parts need definition: exposed parts (surfaces visible when) drawer front & doors when closed; open-type/glass cabinets & shelving; bottoms of cabinets; tops of cabinets… semi-exposed parts (surfaces visible when) open drawers/doors; bottoms of cabinets; front edges of shelving concealed surfaces Surfaces not visible after installation; bottoms & tops of cabinets
