Who is Diver’s Den? Diver’s Den is the longest running dive shop in Panama City, training divers since 1976. Diver’s Den is a Five Star PADI Dive Center –Highest level of Dive Center Membership. Awarded to dive centers that offer a full range of educational programs, equipment selection and actively promote aquatic environmental awareness. –PADI is the world’s leading scuba diving training organization. PADI is an official Boy Scouts of America business partner and co-creator of the SCUBA BSA award and merit badge booklet

Scuba Diving Merit Badge BSA Requirements –First aid for scuba injuries or illnesses –CPR –Swimming merit badge –Scuba Diver’s Code –Identify Ecosystem –Discuss scuba industry career opportunities Earn Open Water Diver certification Scouts with scuba certification can still earn merit badge Age – Scouting age (11 years +)

Learn to Scuba Dive Options Available eLearning –Development portion is completed online at the pace of the student diver. Home Study Program –This option is also completed in the comfort of the student divers home and at their pace using a multi- media DVD version or hard copies of the training material. Classroom program –This is a more traditional approach of conducting the development training in the dive centers classroom using hard copies of the training materials.
