For starters we’re going to talk about the U- Boats 2 torpedo triggers. The fist one is impact, which detonates upon a hard/solid surface. The second is magnetic, which detonates when sensing a change in the magnetic field. And one of the magnetics most effective uses is to set detention to just beneath the kneel of the target.

Up next is the beginning of world war 1 one for the U-Boats. At the start of world war 1 Germany had made 29 U-Boats. In ten weeks 5 British cruisers were sunk. HMS pathfinder was sunk by sm-u-2. HMS was the first ship to be sunk by a self-propelled torpedo.

Last but definitely not least is the developments. The type-Ix was larger and was designed for long range portals, some travelling as far as Japan. And the type-XXI revolutionary steam-lined hull design, which was the basis for the very best submerged performance. Also the ASPIC in Britain allowed allied warships to detect submerged U-Boats.
