 Postcards can also be given out for your continued effort and/or attainment in a subject over a half term, or for consistent improvement over time. These are also worth 5 points

 Each term your attendance will be checked and you can earn a very large number of points JUST for attending school on time every day!  Everyone above 94% will get points added (either 50, 75 or 99 points depending on your attendance)  This starts fresh each term.  From time to time there will also be special ‘Attendance Challenges’ where bonus points can be achieved.

 Each term your positive behaviour can earn you points as well!  If you do NOT receive any behaviour points then you will automatically be awarded 50 points at the end of each term! No behaviour points for me all term – that’s 50 points – Hurrah!!!

 As you accumulate points you can choose to save or spend them in our Reward Store. Students can e- mail ‘rewards’ to buy items if you want them.  Ms Magee manages the Reward store. She will communicate with you directly via email and will keep a record of points you have spent.  Rewards purchased will be sent to your Mentor to give out to you. REWARD STORE

As you accumulate points you could also receive three awards:  BRONZE – 500 points (certificate and engraved pen)  SILVER – 1000 points (certificate and £5 voucher  GOLD – 2000 points (Certificate and £10 voucher)  If you get 2500 points by end of Year 11 and have not spent your points in the reward store you can use this to buy your PROM TICKET!!!

 Rewards can be seen via the school website, or student website (Longhill Live).  In the student section of the school website click on ‘Reward store’ and this will take you to the poster. Click on each Reward store to see what is available to buy with your points.  In ‘Longhill Live’ it can be found on the top bar.  Spending your points will NOT affect your Bronze, Silver or Gold Awards – these will still be awarded to you regardless of spent points.

 At the end of each term (Autumn & Spring terms) the leading House (the one with the most Achievement points) will come off timetable to watch a 3-D Movie!  At the end of the Summer Term – the winning House (with most Achievement points) will be able to go on the Thorpe Park Trip in September! WOW!!!

 In addition to all of this we also have 4 season tickets (as a reward) to see our local Brighton & Hove Albion play and students may be lucky to go and watch a home game!!!  The Draw will take place during your House Assembly!

 Check the Student Portal to see how many achievement points you have.  Ask your Mentor.  Email ‘Rewards’ and you will be told how much you have spent in the Reward Store and how much you have left.  Keep a log of your points in your diary.
