1. F.C. Announcements A representative from the Career and Technology Center in Fort Osage will be here during Collaboration time all next week in the LMC. If you are interested in taking any CTC classes during your 11 th and 12 th grade years, this would be a good time to get more information on their classes. If you want to visit with this representative next week, you must stop by the Counseling Office to pick up a Collaboration pass. You can also watch the TV monitors during lunchtime to receive more CTC information.

2. F.C. Announcements It’s time for the annual Holiday Light Recycling drive. Think green and help others. Parents should drop off old holiday lights at the Freshman Center between November 17 and January 20 between 6:30 am until 3:00 pm on school days. The lights will be recycled to help out sheltered workshops!

3. F.C. Announcements It’s not too late to enter the Kennedy’s Custom Jewelers 5 th Annual Gingerbread House Competition. Please have all entries delivered to the front office no later than THIS Friday, November 21 at 2:00 pm. The winner of each building will be on display at Kennedy’s Jewelers on Saturday, November 28. The final winner will receive $1000 scholarship.

4. F.C. Announcements Help send a care package to our troops!! FCCLA is sponsoring Pennies for Postage November 10- 18 th. The collaboration that collects the most pennies will be given donuts for breakfast on Friday, November 21!!

7. BSSHS Announcements Congratulations to the Blue Springs South boys and girls cross country teams on a great weekend at state. Henry Bahr was the fastest freshman at the state meet, finishing 53 rd in the boys race. The South girls placed 3 rd as a team, with freshman Tori Findley finishing 6 th and Danielle Hotalling finishing 72 nd. Tori was all-state and was the fastest freshman girl by almost a minute!

BSSHS Announcements South girls interested in running track this spring who are not currently in a winter sport – there will be an informational meeting about off seasoning conditioning on Tuesday, November 18 th at 7:00 am in Coach Ewan’s room, E13. Please see Coach Ewan to pick up information if you can’t make it.
