Child Outcomes begin at Referral Take a look at the following script – how would you change it to be more inclusive of the child outcomes?
10
We are the Early Intervention program of Candy Land. We provide services to help with a young child’s development. We work with child up to the age of 3. Some examples of services we provide are ST, PT and Education. We start with a free developmental assessment to determine if your child is eligible for our program. If your child is eligible and we begin a service, that is when we would begin charging a fee.

Your Service Coordinator will schedule an appointment to meet with you in your home to go over more information and conduct an assessment on your child. During the assessment she will ask you questions about things your child can do. Then the Eligibility Committee will determine if your child is eligible.
