ELITEX 2005 - ICT sector in Serbia Serbian Chamber of Commerce Serbian Chamber of Commerce is interest-based, independent and business-professional organization of enterprises, entrepreneurs and other types of organizations performing economic activities on the territory of Serbia, linked by common interest. Following the examples of the EU countries, adopting the Euro-continental model and respecting our own tradition, the work of all chambers and commerce in Serbia is regulated in a modern manner, in accordance with the Law on Chamber’s of Commerce adopted on November 21, 2001.

ELITEX 2005 - ICT sector in Serbia ICT Association in Serbian Chamber of Commerce The ICT association currently consists of more than 2000 corporate members. The IT Association plays an active role in contributing the age of the information society. Through its operating activities the ICT sector has become better recognized, and therefore substantially influences the preparation for legislation, which will govern the IT market. Cooperate with government bodies and institutions, as well as with other associations in the ICT field.

ELITEX 2005 - ICT sector in Serbia ICT Association The target in activities of the ICT Association is: –to enable enterprises engaged in ICT activities to effect directly the creation of economic environment for more successful operation, –to create modern technical and technological precondition for the application and development of information and communication technologies, –to identify a framework for economic and social development in general.

The diversity of the eight countries in the area, in terms of their position, legal environment, growth potential, availability of resources and prices, offers a great opportunity for companies to combine different parts of the region in order to achieve the best business performance.
