Transnational co-operation programmes (among European regions) 3. Interregional co-operation programme (INTERREG IVC) and 3 networking programmes (Urbact II, Interact II and ESPON) (cover all 27 Member States)

4 Specialities -Joint budget – one programme–one bank account: no stripping by Member/Partner States -Open Call for Proposals (one or two step procedures) – no pre-defined projects -Joint decision making procedure – Joint Monitoring Committee (JMC) -Lead Partner/Beneficiary principle – responsible for the successful implementation of the whole project -Cross-border effect must be defined, measurable, sustainable, demonstrable -Joint co-operation criteria: joint planning, joint staffing, joint financing, joint implementation -Financing of projects: Community funding maximum 85% (HU National co- financing up to 10%, own contribution 5%)
