Purity and Faith Be gracious to me, O God, according to Your lovingkindness; According to the greatness of Your compassion blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity And cleanse me from my sin. For I know my transgressions, and my sin is ever before me. Behold, You desire truth in the innermost being… Purify me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow… Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me. (Psalm 51:1-3, 6-7,10) David, Our Hero, A Sinner Given a Pure Heart

Purity and Faith …God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all… but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar and His word is not in us. (1 Jn.1:5, 7-10) You, God’s Hero, A Sinner Given a Pure Heart … A Practical Reality!

Purity and Faith For if the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling those who have been defiled sanctify for the cleansing of the flesh, how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? (Heb.9:13-14) You, God’s Hero, A Sinner Given a Pure Heart … A Practical Reality! Do you really believe that Christ’s blood is effective to completely cleanse you at the beginning of your thoughts and emotions… in your heart?
