When you hold out, you lose out. When you go all in, you win

When you stifle the Holy Spirit you slip into sin.

And when [the Holy Spirit] comes, he will convict the world of sin, and God's righteousness… When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future. He will bring me glory by telling you whatever he receives from me. John 16:8,13-14

To go all in you need LISTEN to the Holy Spirit.

When you hold out you lose out, And you lead your wife into sin.

If you want your wife to follow Jesus, if you want your children to follow Jesus, then YOU need to go all in first.

To go all in you have to LET GO.

Are you Ananias or Barnabas? Are you Sapphira or Barnabas?

So humble yourself before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinner; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world…Humble yourselves before The Lord, and he will lift you up in honour. James 4:7-8,10

Our Father, I want to go all in with you today. I let go of all my hopes, all of my dreams, all of my desires, everything I hold dear. Holy Spirit, fill me and show me where I am not all in, where I am holding out, and lead me to the life that Jesus envisions for me. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
