Vocabulary Shepherd 1.1- someone whose job is to take care of sheep. Exciting 1.2- making you feel happy or interested in something. Told 2.1- the past tense and past participle of tell. Wolf 2.2- wild animal similar to a large dog. Village 2.3- a very small town. Toward 3.1- money put, saved, or given toward something is used to pay for it. Shouted 3.2- to say something very loudly. Although 3.2- in spite of the fact that. Field 4.2- an area of land in the country where crops are grown or where animals feed on grass.

Vocabulary Laughing 4.3- to make a sound with your voice, usually while smiling, because you think something is funny. Few 5.1- a small number of things or people. Ran 5.3- the past tense of run. Attacked 6.2- a violent action that is intended to hurt a person or damage a place. Killed 7.1 an animal killed by another animal, especially for food. Forest 7.2- a very large area of land that is covered with trees.

Summary A shepherd boy took care of his master’s sheep. His master told him to called for help in case he saw a wolf near the sheep. But he was so bored of doing the same thing that the played a two jokes to the villagers that he saw a wolf, the villagers ran towards him but their was not wolf and he laughed of amusement. The third time he really saw the wolf and cried for help but the villagers didn’t came because they thought it was a joke again. The wolf killed many of the boy’s sheep and ran away.
