EUROPEAN VALUES IN SOUTHEASTERN EUROPEAN COUNTRIES Honorable participants, guests and friends of Youth Alliance Krushevo First of all, I would like to thank you and salute you for being here today with us on the opening of the international youth conference “European values in Southeastern European countries”. We tried to organize events of this kind, motivated from Krushevo’s past, place were modest ideas and movements were promoted. Here, even 100 years before, there was a promotion of democratic norms and values, in which you can recognize the democratic principles that are base for the contemporary European unity, which is a proof that here the democratic values and traditions existed from ever since. Through the contemporary forms of expression we are going to try to promote new visions for mutual future of all ethnical and political subjects contrary to the military forms of expressions that dominated in the last 10 years in our environment. For development of interpersonal dialog we made our choice on Euro integration as unique idea for bringing together all individuals of Southeastern Europe. The goal of our activities is to develop and maintain communication and cooperation among the youth and all movements from the region that support the process of European and Euro Atlantic integration. Our conference presents a kind of continuation of the last year activities. On the conference we are planning to talk about topics that are burden to all young people of the region and are also obstacle in the Euro integration processes. Furthermore our agenda leaves enough space for partying and fun. For the realization of the conference we were supported by: Agency of Youth and sport of RM, British Embassy in Skopje, Foundation Open Society Institute Macedonia and of course our official patron the Sector of Euro Integration in the Government of R. Macedonia.
